About The Leeds Blues Club

Leeds Blues Club was formed in 2023 by a group of like minded enthusiasts who share a passion for live music and the blues in particular, recognising it as the root of so much modern music and able to stir the soul like no other.

Although Leeds has some great music venues, we wanted to ensure that blues was well represented in the city centre and have identified a great venue who wants to work with us to support live blues. The Cross Keys is a great traditional pub in Holbeck, close to Leeds station and which has an enviable reputation for its selection of drinks, great service and quality food. The historic upstairs room provides an intimate venue ideal for solo acts to bands and a flexible seating arrangement creates a real club atmosphere with a full menu available and table service.

The Irish Centre is one of Leeds’ favourite venues for live music. Many big performers have appeared on the stage over the years and the atmosphere that is generated is absolutely second to none. We are delighted that the Irish Centre has been made available to us so that we can potentially attract some of the biggest bands on the national and international blues scene to perform in Leeds.

The Leeds Blues Club is open to members who share our passion for live blues, and for a low annual membership fee you will be guaranteed to be able to secure tickets for all the events, including the ability to purchase VIP tickets, attend musician masterclasses, get a bar discount and attend special club nights.
