Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast deliver gritty rock & roll soaked in deep roots and blues influences, led by the commanding vocals of powerhouse frontwoman Caitlin Krisko. Since their rebrand in 2021, the band has built a fiercely loyal following across the US and UK, earning critical acclaim and major festival slots for their electrifying, emotionally charged performances.
Rolling Stone calls Krisko “one of the best-kept vocal secrets of the Southeast,” and in 2024, the band took a bold creative leap with their self-produced EP Blueprints, a soulful, anthemic collection that landed playlist placements, radio support, and praise for its raw vulnerability. The single “Haunted By You” topped Spotify’s “Blues Ballads” playlist, while their upcoming full-length album Heirloom (out November 2025) builds on that momentum with a waterfall release of singles throughout the year.
With past support slots for legends like Mavis Staples, Marcus King, Blackberry Smoke, Samantha Fish, Robert Randolph, and Margo Price, the band continues to rise. Krisko recently stepped into a new role as host of the storied Buffalo Mountain Jam at FloydFest, solidifying her as a staple of the modern roots rock scene.
Following a breakout year of airplay on Planet Rock Radio, the band returns to the UK in December 2025, building on their growing international fanbase with festival and club dates that highlight their genre-bending fusion of southern soul, roots rock, and blues influenced modern storytelling.
Heart of Gold is a soul-steeped roots rock anthem that sinks into your bones from the first chord and refuses to let go. Anchored by Caitlin Krisko’s powerhouse vocals, the song builds with intention: soulful, cinematic and timeless. It’s a song for long drives, open roads, and moments when the past catches up with you in the best and worst ways.
Rolling Stone describes Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast as “arguably one of the best-kept vocal secrets of the Southeast,” and Heart of Gold makes that secret impossible to keep.
This is the first single from the band’s upcoming full-length album Heirloom, which drops November 3, 2025. Heirloom is a collection of songs rooted in legacy and lived experience, blending southern grit with raw vulnerability. Just like a treasured heirloom, these tracks are meant to endure, meant to be held, felt, and passed along.
Heart of Gold sets the tone for a record rooted in soul rock tradition, shaped by personal transformation and artistic evolution. This new track offers a compelling fit for fans of Brandi Carlile, Nathaniel Rateliff, Marcus King, and Grace Potter.
