The Dirt Road Band bring together three musicians with an extraordinary collective pedigree for a night of powerful, no-nonsense blues and rock.

Leading the trio is the formidable Steve Walwyn, a professional guitarist for more than 45 years and, for 32 of those, the longest-serving guitarist in Dr Feelgood. During a remarkable career, Steve has also worked with artists including Steve Marriott, Eddie and the Hot Rods, the Roger Chapman Band and the Big Town Playboys. Widely regarded by fellow musicians and blues fans as one of the finest guitarists in the world, his playing combines blistering power, impeccable technique and genuine soul. Watching him perform at close quarters is an experience no serious guitar lover should miss.

Alongside Steve is Horace Panter, the legendary bassist and founding member of The Specials. A central figure in one of Britain’s most influential bands, Horace brings decades of experience, unmistakable groove and effortless stagecraft to the Dirt Road Band’s formidable rhythm section.

Completing the line-up is vastly experienced drummer Ted Duggan, whose career has included spells with Badfinger and pioneering electronic outfit Banco de Gaia. His driving, intuitive playing provides the perfect foundation for the band’s hard-hitting sound.

Together, these three seasoned professionals produce music with all the excitement, energy and hunger of a band half their age. Expect superb musicianship, infectious chemistry and an exhilarating blend of blues, rhythm and blues, pub rock and rock ’n’ roll, including material from their critically acclaimed debut album, Righteous.

This is much more than a collection of famous names—it is a genuine power trio at the very top of its game. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the Dirt Road Band live.
